Training

As part of the Maximising the Middle Initiative, we have invested in high-quality leadership and wellbeing training to strengthen our work with students, families, and communities. We have sent 54 school and community leaders to participate in both the Stronger Smarter Leadership Program™ and ARACY’s Common Approach® training. Together, these programs have built confidence, promoted positive identities, and equipped leaders with the tools to foster high-expectations relationships that have led to better outcomes for young people.


By undertaking this training, we are equipping Changemakers to foster collaboration across schools and communities, strengthening child-centred and strength-based practices, and building long-term capacity to ensure every young person thrives.

Stronger Smarter Institute Leadership Training

The Stronger Smarter Leadership Program™, delivered in partnership with Maximising the Middle, is the first step in our pathway of programs that support school and community leaders in their pursuit of educational excellence for all students.


The program equips participants to challenge limiting mindsets within schools and actively engage staff and the wider community. Through the Stronger Smarter Approach™, leaders are guided to enact high-expectations relationships, promote positive identities, and embed excellence in schools.

About Stronger Smarter

ARACY Common Approach Training

As part of the initiative, ARACY provides Common Approach® training in conjunction with SSI’s Stronger Smarter Leadership™ training. This component combines access to online e-modules with an in-person workshop, weaving in the alignments between both programs.


With a strong focus on young people in the middle years, the Common Approach training enhances participants’ capacity to work holistically, collaboratively, and in a strength-based, child-centred way when supporting young people’s wellbeing.
